Two more surrender in court over attack on Teotia

GHAZIABAD: Two more accused named in the Brijpal Teotia attack case surrendered before a local court in Ghaziabad on Friday. The two, Vicky and Shokender, were sent to judicial custody after their surrender. There are still five accused in the case who are on the run and police are claiming that all efforts were being made to arrest them.
On the role of Vicky and Shokender, Rakesh Pandey, SP rural, said, “Both of them are relatives of prime accused Manish who had been arrested.

Vicky is accused of roping in his college friend Abhishek Gurjar for carrying out the attack while Shokender arranged for weapons that was used in the attack and that included an AK-47 and a carbine that he procured from one Sansar Singh.”
“We also know that Vicky and Shokender were present at the scene on August 11 when Teotia was attacked. Now we will question them and find out whether they were actually involved in the attack,” said Pandey.
Meanwhile, a non-bailable warrant has already been issued against the remaining five accused and the police is carrying out raids to arrest them.
