Mysuru: A 43-year-old employee working in a MNC in the FMCG sector was found hanging inside the factory located in Nanjangud industrial area on Wednesday.The deceased, Kumaraswamy, left a death note accusing three of his fellow colleagues of harassment and sought action against them for the extreme step. Nanjangud town police are probing it.According to SP Mallikarjun Baladandi, Kumaraswamy took the drastic step inside the factory in Nanjangud industrial area on Wednesday afternoon. Nanjangud town police have taken up a case of abetment of suicide and are investigating, he said.The deceased was a resident of Kappasoge village in Nanjangud taluk. Police said he was working as a part-time employee at the factory for about 23 years. On Wednesday, he left home for work as usual, but around 3pm, he was found hanging in a lab within the factory premises.Sometime later, co-workers noticed the dead body and informed authorities, who then alerted police. After arriving at the scene, police took custody of the body and recovered a death note.Kumaraswamy, in his death note, blamed three persons for his death and urged police to take action against them. He had addressed the note to the circle inspector of police.Family members, who reached the spot, demanded the arrest of the three individuals mentioned in the death note and called for strict action against them. They also sought appropriate compensation and a permanent job at the factory for the deceased’s son. Until their demands were addressed, the family insisted they would not allow the body to be sent for postmortem.
