The famous Raigad fort has been closed for tourists in view of heavy rain in the district. Around 500 tourists were stranded on the fort on Sunday evening, when the Raigad police with the help of members of a NGO started the rescue operation. Hence, from Monday onwards, the Raigad police closed the fort for tourists, said dditional SP Atul Zende.
