KGMU gives ragging doses to student
LUCKNOW: King George's Medical University (KGMU) has its own unique way to teach munna bhais lessons of discipline and how to respect seniors. Dhananjay, a MBBS 1997 batch student, was forced to kneel down and apologise to a senior, Dr Gautam Arora, junior resident III, Orthopaedics, in front of an entire batch of students and teachers of the department.
Dhananjay had on October 15 assaulted Dr Arora in trauma centre.

The only fault of Dr Arora was that he declined to help Dhananjay manipulate answer copies in the examination. After performing badly in earlier examinations, Dhananjay was desperate to pass the test.
Interestingly, Dhananjay and Dr Arora were selected for MBBS in the same year. While Dr Arora graduated and is presently studying in the final year of post-graduation in Orthopaedics, Dhananjay is still struggling to clear MBBS.
On Wednesday, he was called by the head of the Orthopaedics department Prof OP Singh and made to kneel down before the junior batch of 180 odd students. Teachers of the department were also present to watch the show.
Dhananjay was asked to apologise five times verbally and then give it in writing to Dr Arora. Thereafter, it was publicly announced that the 'aggressor' has been 'pardoned'. Meanwhile, the official complaint against him lodged earlier with the KGMU authorities was taken back.
