LUCKNOW: Schools associated with the Independent Schools' Federation of India would remain closed on Friday to protest the brutal killing of CP Singh, manager of the Lucknow Public School, LDA Colony.
According to Jaipal Singh, member of the association, the killing was condemned by all in a meeting of the association on Thursday.
It was also decided that member schools would remain closed on Friday to mourn the death and lodge their protest against the brutal killing and the deteriorating law and order.

Around 60 schools having around 200 branches in the city are members of the association.
Singh said that all branches of Lucknow Public School, Rani Laxmi Bai Memorial Senior Secondary School, SKD Academy, Lucknow Public Collegiate, New Public School, Saint Miraj School, Modern Academy, Saint Peter's School,
Pioneer Montessori School and others would remain closed on Friday.
According to press release issued by the City Montessori School group of schools, all branches of City Montessori School would remain closed on Friday to mourn CP Singh's death. Singh was a former teacher of City Montessori School.
However, students of class 12th of City Montessori School Station Road, Mahanagar, Rajendra Nagar, Kanpur Road and Chowk branches have been asked to attend the two-day National Education Conclave at City Montessori School Degree College Auditorium.
