Kolhapur police arrest firearm dealer from MP

Kolhapur: The local crime branch (LCB) of the city police arrested an arms dealer from Madhya Pradesh's Burhanpur town, seizing four pistols costing a total of Rs2 lakh.Earlier this month, a man fired bullets at a criminal-on-record who had left the office of sub-divisional police officer. The criminal-on-record suffered a chest wound. The case was then transferred to the LCB led by inspector Sushant Chavan. During probe, the police found that the bullets were procurred from a 26-year-old man — Sarnam Naharsinha Barnana, a resident of Khargun district in MP.
