He later participated in a programme organised by the Jain community at Mahavir Bhavan. The principles of Indian culture, which have been developed on the basis of knowledge and humanity, can be the solution to global problems. Bhagwan Mahavir has taught many principles for human welfare. If we follow these three principles of truth, non-violence and non-attachment, peace will prevail all over the world, he said.

There is no dearth of skills among Indian students. But they need to be given a better path for their skills, he said.
