Couple found murdered

CHITRADURGA: The Chitradurga police are baffled over the spate of murders and rapes in the city, with the murder of a couple, Hanumanthappa (50) and his wife Chandramma (44), on Tuesday night. The murder of the farm labourers from Obavvanagtihally, which took place in a farm house close to NH-4, came to light only on Wednesday evening.
Some villagers who saw the bodies covered with a bedsheet around on Wednesday evening informed the Chitradurga rural police.A two-year-old child, said to be the grandchild of the couple, was found beside the bodies. Police suspect the involvement of a psychopath.
