"We have got a superb response from the buyers", explained a leading jeweller from Bank Street in Karol Bagh, "people are well aware of the festival and are participating with enthusiasm."
The festival, organized in the peak buying season, is in it’s second year. As per the organizers, the message is much better understood by the consumers this year.
"The current trend indicates that we have a much stronger response this year", said Nitin Bhatia, Manager-Special Projects at Sercon, "we can attribute this to an overall positive market situation, larger marketing and promotional outlay and the fact that
DGF is now a well established brand."
"We are buying for a family wedding in December. We preponed the buying because of the festival and the possibility of big wins," said Mr Batra, who purchased his jewellery from an outlet in the north of the city.
