Delhi: 33-year-old man stabbed to death on New Year’s Eve
NEW DELHI: A 33-year-old man was stabbed to death in North East Delhi on New Year’s Eve, police said on Wednesday.According to police, information was received around midnight on the night of 30–31 December about a man with stab injuries who had been brought to Jag Pravesh Chandra (JPC) Hospital. Doctors declared the man dead on arrival.

Shastri Park police identified the deceased as Wasim, a resident of the Buland Masjid area in Shastri Park.A preliminary inquiry revealed that Wasim was stabbed near a loop road behind a DDA park in the Shastri Park area. A case has been registered under sections of the BNS at Shastri Park police station.A forensic team inspected the scene and collected evidence. Police teams have been deployed to gather clues and identify those involved.Further investigation is ongoing, police added.
