CHENNAI: Chief minister
M K Stalin on Tuesday took a serious note of the bad condition of roads across the state and directed the officials concerned to pay attention in laying quality roads.
Stalin presided over a monsoon-preparedness meeting in the secretariat in which ministers and top bureaucrats participated.
“I have been receiving continuous complaints about bad roads in Chennai and its suburban areas.
Similarly, roads in various districts are also damaged resulting in drivers facing hardships and minor accidents,” said Stalin.

He also directed all the departments concerned to ensure that quality roads are laid at the earliest.
