chandigarh: the state bjp suffered a jolt on tuesday when a senior executive member, capt vikram singh, announced his resig-nation from the party membership, following the party leaders' failure to take action against bjp minis-ters madan mohan mittal and tik-shan sood, who have been charged with indulging in corrupt practices. talking to mediapersons here, singh said that a week ago he had brought to the notice of state bjp president b l rinwa that tikshan sood had indulged in human traf-ficking while mittal had stacked huge amounts of cash at the resi-dence of one of his relatives.
he re-gretted that no action had been taken against the two ministers. in-stead, the party had decided to renominate the two from hoshiarpur and nangal vidhan sabha seats, which, he said, was un-fortunate.
