Rs 8 crore to be spent on road repairs in Chandigarh

CHANDIGARH: The municipal corporation (MC) has projected Rs 8 crore will be spent for recarpeting roads in northern sectors of the city, an agenda that will come up for approval during the MC house meeting on March 6. Besides roads, some parking lots too will be covered.
“As climate matters a lot for road re-carpeting — warm temperature is required for proper laying of bitumen —, this period is apt for the work.
