Stree 2 box office collection: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer races ahead with Rs 800 crore!

Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2 gave some serious chills to the audience and is now shaking up the list of highest grossing Indian films.
The numbers have slowed down for Stree 2 but the overall collection continues to grow. The film added Rs 1.65 crore to its collection on its fifth Thursday, taking the total domestic business to a whopping Rs 564 crore. The worldwide business of the film has also been mammoth, adding considerably to the total, which stands at Rs 801.15 crore in 35 days.Directed by Amar Kaushik, this horror comedy struck a chord with the audience and is now reaping the love in the form of box office figures.
Celebrating the success of the film, Rajkummar Rao had recently shared, “We all are very happy that Stree 2 has done so well. With such huge (box office) numbers coming out, it proves that so many people went and watched it. I thank them for their love. I have received a lot of love from the audience. I have received so many congratulatory messages and calls. I was emotionally very vulnerable when people said that it felt like a personal victory to them. Many people have said that they have felt ‘humari hi jeet hui hai, it is not just your win’. Many of them had attached their journeys with mine and they said that my journey gives them hope. It was overwhelming for me."
YRF also extended support to the horror drama, hailing the makers for setting impressive standards.
