Minister Dr Ponguru Narayana reaches out to a family whose house was recently gutted down in a fire mishap

TIRUPATI: State municipal administration minister Dr Ponguru Narayana extended solidarity to a family whose house was gutted down in a fire mishap triggered by an electric short circuit at Nellore recently. After learning about the tragic incident from the local TDP leaders, Dr Narayana met Shahina and her family members at their house which was gutted down at the 44th division under the Nellore municipal corporation limits. After Shahina and their family members explained their ordeal to the minister that all valuables in the house too were reduced to ashes, minister expressed his grief and extended an immediate financial assistance of Rs.50000 to the family. Dr Narayana also assured the family that their house that was gutted down will be rebuilt by the NCC construction group free of cost and assured them that the reconstruction works would also be completed within 3-4 days itself. Shahina and her family members thanked the minister for reaching out to them in their hour of distress.
