CHENNAI: A glam doll not long ago, now married, actor Rambha has moved a family court in Chennai to restore her conjugal rights.
In simple terms it means that the actor, who was known in the 1990s for her dance moves, wants to reunite with her husband and live with him.
Rambha, who has acted in around 100 films, and whose original name was Vijayalakshmi, married a Canada-based Indiran Pathmanathan in April 2010.

They have two children.
Now, Rambha invoked Section 9 of the Hindu Marriages Act, saying she wanted to live with Indran. The couple have been living separately for some time now.
She has acted in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam films, starring along with all top stars in these languages. She had acted in three Bengali film as well.
Rambha filed the present petition before the second additional family court here. The matter has been adjourned to December 3 for further proceedings.
