Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health took to their official Twitter account to post a hilarious clip from iconic Hollywood comedy film ‘Home Alone’ to spread awareness about the Omicron, the latest coronavirus variant that has caused a meteoric rise of cases worldwide.
The video highlights how vaccines and booster shots are helpful for the prevention of serious Covid symptoms by comparing the two most recent variants of concern, Omicron and Delta, to the burglars from Home Alone.
In Home Alone, 8-year-old kid, Kevin McCallister, who is accidentally left behind as his parents leave for a vacation, defends his home against two burglars. Kevin uses his sharp intellect to lay a trap to fend off two thieves who attempt to rob his home.
