Stress and anxiety have become a common problem because of a fast-paced life. They have now become part of our fast-paced life.
Anxiety is nothing but a feeling of fear, dread, and uneasiness.Sometimes, our mind is overwhelmed with stress and still we fail to recognize that our mental health is deteriorating. Most people experience anxiety on occasion.
It is important to understand that while everybody feels anxious from time to time, when feelings of anxiety start to interfere with your daily life, it rather becomes a matter of serious concern.

However, most desi parents just don’t seem to understand the gravity of their children’s anxiety and just seem to downplay it by coming up with weird and irrelevant suggestions and not taking them to a therapist. As per desi parents any problem can be solved, be it a terminal illness, by waking up early in the morning.
Taking a jibe at such parents, Twitter user Srishti Skhula began an engaging conversation with her followers when she asked how Indian parents would react to anxiety problems.

“"i have anxiety issues" reply as a desi parents : (sic),” she tweeted. And the Twitter users didn't disappoint, coming up with the most apt yet hilarious responses.
As expected ‘wake up early’ was the reaction most came up with.

‘Or just go for a walk in morning, everything will be fine’

Even better ‘read namaz’

‘All because of mobile phone’

‘Eat chyawanprash’

No, in fact ‘take eno’

Or ‘just come home’

If nothing works, then ‘get married’

‘Anxiety is just an excuse, you just don’t want to do any household chores’

A Twitter user lashed out at such parents and said her parents were different.

“It’s awful how some parents neglect such serious issues, thankfully my parents were so supportive and for that I’ll always be grateful,” she tweeted.
