Rashtriya Loktantrik Party quits NDA over farm laws

In yet another setback to the BJP, its Rajasthan ally Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP), severed its ties with the NDA on Saturday over the ongoing protest by farmers against the three agriculture laws. RLP chief Hanuman Beniwal announced the decision to split from NDA at a rally in Shahjahanpur in Alwar district. Beniwal said, “I have left the NDA (National Democratic Alliance) in protest against the three farm laws. These laws are anti-farmer."
