Maharashtra Dy CM Ajit Pawar, Devendra Fadnavis meets CM Shinde at his official residence

Maharshtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and Devendra Fadnavis reached Chief Minster Eknath Shinde’s official residence for a late-night meeting on July 11. After splitting the NCP down the middle and joining the Shiv Sena-BJP alliance in Maharashtra along with 8 senior MLAs, Ajit Pawar took oath as the deputy chief minister. Notably, there has been political turmoil in Maharashtra since various leaders of the NCP joined BJP. NCP suffered a split after the party's working president, Ajit Pawar, along with some of his supporter MLAs joined the Maharashtra government. Also, Pawar and 8 MLAs took oath as ministers in the state cabinet.
