Jharkhand: Devotees offer prayers at Mahavir Temple in Panki on Mahashivratri

On the occasion of Mahashivratri, devotees offered prayers at Mahavir Temple in Panki city of Jharkhand on February 18. Security was beefed up in the area to maintain peace after the stone-pelting incident. Maha Shivratri is one of the most auspicious Hindu festivals which is celebrated across India.“People of the Shivratri committee are performing the puja. The program is going on under Section 144 restrictions... 13 people have been arrested so far in the clash that took place on February 15 in Panki,” said Palamu SP Chandan Kumar.
