Commenting on Bharatiya Janata Party’s views of Karnataka being an "ATM" for the Congress government in the state, the President of the ‘grand-old’ party said that the BJP’s attempts to “defame the government” before the assembly elections will “not work”. “The Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister have already given an answer to this. It has been barely a few months since the Government was formed there and they are already saying these things. You should think and speak. They are trying to defame the Government due to elections. This is not going to work,” said Mallikarjun Kharge while speaking to ANI on October 25.
