Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) has accused NATO of using Moldova as a military pawn in the ongoing Ukraine war. The agency claims NATO is transforming Moldova into a "forward base" and "cannon fodder" for future conflict with Russia, including modernizing Moldovan airfields.
