Showdown Erupts: Thompson Rips Bessent's 'Golden Age Economy' Claims In US House

RJD Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Jha clarified that he had provided a recommendation letter that enabled the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) to hold a press conference at the Constitution Club, but said he was informed only that an event needed to be organised and was not told any further details. Jha explained that a sitting MP's recommendation is required for such events and that he routinely extends such support to journalists, academics and civil society groups. Rejecting suggestions of any ulterior motive, he said the contents of his letter clearly mentioned only a request for a press conference. The RJD leader also declined to comment on the CJP movement, stating that its ideology was unclear. He added that the episode had prompted him to be more cautious and conduct proper inquiries before issuing recommendation letters in the future.
