Phone tapping case: Maharashtra IPS officer Rashmi Shukla transferred

Maharashtra chief secretary Sitaram Kunte submitted a confidential report to the chief minister Uddhav Thackeray stating that IPS officer Rashmi Shukla misled the state government while seeking permission for phone tapping. Rashmi Shukla wrongfully tapped the phones for which she turned in an apology as well, the report said.
