Delhi gang uses fake Aadhaar IDs, PAN cards to dupe bank

A gang from Delhi used innovative mode to dupe banks. The gang downloads profile pics of random Facebook users and use editing software to create fake Aadhaar cards with those pictures. These fake Aadhaar cards were then used to obtain PAN cards. The group members then form two fictitious companies Carso Global Telecom and Ericsson Technologies and 39 fake bank accounts were created for the employees. Fake Aadhaar and PAN cards are used to get Credit Cards from HDFC Bank for employees of the fictitious companies. The credit cards with credit limit of around Rs 6 lakh were collected by Sanjeet Kumar and Bittu posed as different employees of these companies. With this innovative approach, the gang was able to defraud the HDFC bank of as much as Rs 10 crore.
