Gudi Padwa 2022: Marathi celebs wish everyone on the auspicious day and share their happiness on lifting COVID restrictions

Gudi Padwa is a special festival for every Marathi person as it is a new year for the Marathi community. People are looking forward to celebrate the occasion this year even more as the COVID restrictions have been lifted. This is the first festival of the year in which citizens of Maharashtra will wear the masks voluntarily and celebs are happy about it. Many celebs wished their fans a very happy Gudi Padwa and also reacted to the Maharashtra government's new 'no mask mandatory' decision.

Actress Nityashri Dnyanlakshmi wished everyone on Gudi Padwa and said that she is celebrating this Padwa at her home with her parents. She said, "I am so happy that I am celebrating this year's Gudi Padwa with my family in Sangamner. Also, this Gudi Padwa is so special that there is no mask mandatory in the state now so it is a relief. But we should not completely ignore the masks because anything can happen at any time and we should take care of ourselves and our families."

Actress and Bigg Boss Marathi 3 fame Sonali Patil also wished her fans on Gudi Padwa and said, "I wish everyone the best and good luck. I pray that now we are heading towards COVID free life and it is such a relieving feeling. We won't be wearing masks from Gudi Padwa as per the government's new order and that is a relieving feeling so I am so happy. I am seeing that people are smiling and so happy so I pray this smile may stay for a long time and these masks will go away permanently."

Actor and Jeev Majha Guntala actor Sourabh Choughule also wished every one of Gudi Padwa and said, "I belong to Dombivali and it is known as a traditional symbol city. We often meet our friends on the occasion of Gudi Padwa but I could not meet them this time as I am busy with shooting. I really wish for everyone's health and prosperity and hope this COVID does not get back in our lives."
