New mom Debina Bonnerjee recalls visiting astrologers, taking flower therapy while trying to conceive; says, ‘Was told pregnancy is not in my charts’

New mom Debina Bonnerjee had earlier revealed the problems she dealt with while conceiving. The actress who welcomed a baby girl home with hubby Gurmeet Choudhary recalled the difficult phase of her life when she was trying to conceive with endometriosis and adenomyosis. Debina, who has shared her pregnancy journey through her vlogs, got candid about the measures she took to conceive. She spoke about going for multiple medical treatments, acupuncture, flower therapy and even visiting astrologers to get help. As she shared her journey, Debina had a few insights to share with all the ladies out there. Here’s all she shared: (All Photos: Instagram)

Taking the astrological way

Debina shared how she took the way of astrology to conceive. She shared, “I went to an astrologer, who told me that pregnancy is not in my charts. He suggested that the stones that I wore then were also affecting this by driving me more towards work and didn’t help with conceiving. He further said that my mind needs some cool down to impact the childbearing in me. The astrologer offered me mini rudrakshas and suggested a few mantras to chant every day.”

Revealing the truth behind ‘poojas’

While sharing her learnings from the session with astrologer, Debina talked about a major learning she got from the astrologer. The actress shared that the astrologer gave his insights on the ‘poojas’ that everyone conducts at home and told her a fact about these. According to what the astrologer shared, the pandit/priest who conducts the pooja at home and recites the mantras gets benefited from it instead of the one who performs it without chanting the mantras. Debina further explained that if one chants the mantras on her/his own, one would be benefited without the help of any big pooja or priest.

Trying multiple medical treatments

Debina shared that she took the help of medical professionals to solve the problem of conceiving by first going for treatments, especially for endometriosis and adenomyosis. She shared that she went for IVF and IUI treatments and also took a hysteroscopy for the same. Debina also mentioned that she went to two big doctors in Mumbai and might share their names who helped her sometime later.

Be positive and trust the doctor

Further, Debina sent a word of always being positive, believing in oneself and one’s doctor. “I tried to be as positive as I could. I never had a doubt if anything that I was trying would work or not. Whatever the doctor is telling is good and I need to trust her. I trusted her completely,” she said. Ahead in the vlog, Debina emphasised on the importance of being positive to get healed. “Bas ek positive mindset rakhiye and everything would work positively,” she added.

Going for acupuncture treatment

The Ramayan actress disclosed that she even took acupuncture treatment. Giving a glimpse of the cupping therapy and needle therapy, she revealed that it was during these sessions that she realised the stress that she had been under. “I got needles pricked on my forehead to calm my mind. I used to give her my scanned reports and she used to follow the procedure required accordingly,” shared Debina.

Mind blockage and flower therapy

Amongst the multiple measures, Flower Therapy is also something that Debina took and spoke about in her latest vlog. She shared that it was then that she realised that there are some blockages in her mind, that she had to overcome them to get a positive result and impact with the multiple treatments.

Significance of workouts and clean lifestyle

Debina further emphasised the importance of working out in day to day life. She added that being fit is a natural treatment for endometriosis. Debina further spoke about how important it is to have a clean and plastic-free lifestyle. The actress added that she tried replacing all the teflon cookware with iron cookware and took measures to make her home plastic-free.

Make-up products can affect the hormonal system

Debina Bonnerjee also shared that the easily available makeup products in the market are heavily loaded with lead and other toxins, which hugely affect the hormonal system. “They penetrate your system and bring hormonal changes,” she said. Debina added that everyone should read the labels of products to be well-informed of the ingredients. She further said that one should try incorporating clean skincare and makeup products.

10/10

Importance of leading a stress-free life

“Please don’t stress. Stress is the last thing to take in life,” Debina said. She explained how stress can only add up to the conditions one is suffering from and said, “Breath in positivity and let all the negativity go out of your body.” As she concluded the vlog, Debina specified that one need not follow everything that she did but can decide to follow whatever feels to be the right thing.
