Inside ‘Dhurandhar’ fame Rakesh Bedi’s Mumbai home: A colourful living room, cosy bedrooms and more

Rakesh Bedi’s home reflects warmth, simplicity and lived-in comfort rather than over-the-top luxury. Everything about the place seems to be functional but with some level of aesthetic beauty, creating a homely environment that is geared towards comfort rather than luxury. Farah Khan shared a glimpse of Rakesh's house in her recent YouTube video. Take a look:-

The living room

The living room is simple and at the same time vibrant due to its yellow and white coloration. There are some paintings decorating the place but they do not seem to have an impact on its simplicity and cleanliness. The living room has comfortable sofas placed appropriately to create a relaxed atmosphere.

3/7

The aesthetics of the house

The beauty in this house may not come from excessive décor, but from the soft color palette and the personal artworks. These rooms prove that aestheticism may have nothing in common with luxury and sophistication; simple things can look beautiful too.

4/7

Kitchen

One feature of the kitchen that is immediately noticeable is its simplicity and functionality with neatly arranged yellow cabinets creating color appeal. This makes the room look bright and efficient at the same time.

5/7

The ‘den’

One of the rooms that seem more personal than others is the den. There, visitors may notice a personalised painting of Rakesh. This touch makes the room special and cozy. There is a comfortable couch and the atmosphere seems quite peaceful this room is a place to unwind and feel relaxed.

6/7

Dining area

The dining area continues to carry the same simple and homely theme. It is built with functionality in mind by having a neatly arranged dining table arrangement that fosters interaction among the members of the family. This room may not be overly decorated but it gives an impression of being warm and inviting for every day.

7/7

Bedrooms

Continuing the theme of comfort, the bedrooms are created as restful rooms decorated with minimum decorations and featuring soothing colors. One thing is clear about these rooms, their purpose is relaxation and peace from the hustle outside.
