In the middle of all this, discipline and consistency become your strongest foundation,” she shares.According to Chaitali, discipline goes far beyond simply being punctual on set. “It’s about continuously working on yourself, your craft, your body, your mind, and your emotional resilience even when nobody is watching,” she explains. While talent may open doors, she strongly feels consistency is what sustains an actor in the long run.The actress admits motivation can fluctuate, especially in an uncertain profession like acting. “There are days when you feel inspired and days filled with uncertainty. In those moments, consistency matters more than motivation,” she says. To stay grounded, Chaitali follows personal practices like journaling, reading, observing people, and creatively engaging with performances and emotions daily. She also believes maintaining a boundary between personal life and professional life is essential. “The actor and the person in me are two different spaces,” she says.Speaking about the glamour associated with acting, Chaitali points out that audiences rarely see the hard work behind the scenes. “An actor’s work doesn’t begin and end on set.
