Bengaluru, the capital city of Karnataka, is not your typical tourist destination. However, the city can be called a transit destination as travellers end up here on their way to places that are purely touristy; Hampi for instance. Cubbon Park is home to around 6000 indigenous and exotic trees, making the park one of the most beautiful features of the city. The park’s tree-lined pathways look spectacular any day.
Bannerghatta Butterfly Park
Do the 1 km butterfly trail inside the park, which is spread across an area of over 7.5 acres. There are around 48 species of butterflies in the park.
Lalbagh Botanical Garden
The botanical garden is a pretty massive tourist attraction. The history of Lalbagh goes back 200 years and, back then, the park introduced several species of ornamental plants. Lalbagh is spread over 240 acres, and is home to over 1000 species of plants.
Beautiful walking paths of Lalbagh
Lalbagh is one of the city’s most loved parks. The walking paths are lined with trees and have benches all around for those who’d like to take a rest and simply enjoy the park’s vibe.
