The nearest destination from Bengaluru for a great weekend getaway is Nandi hills, just 60 km away from the city. There are guest houses for weekend stays. Galibore Fishing Camp
Just 103 km from Bengaluru, Galibore Fishing Camp is located in Kanakapura in Karnataka. It hardly takes two hours to reach the site. As the name suggests, the place is great for a fishing holiday. You don’t even have to fish, just camping on the banks of the Cauvery river is going to be a beautiful break. It comes under the Cauvery Wildlife Sanctuary. Horsley Hills
