If you’re looking for a classic Americana eatery, The Girl and the Goat is recommended for you. This trendy restaurant serves a range of tapas style delicacies, focussing on serving comforting American family-style meals. Plates are priced between $8- $27, and made to share so it’s suggested you order 1 or 2 per person. Dishes include classics like grilled octopus, and crispy braised pork shank, to a little more adventurous plates like duck tongues, and wood oven roasted pig face. As the name suggests, there is also a range of goat options, and a whole goat leg is available to pre-order for larger groups. There are plenty of seating options available – bar, lounge, or large group tables. The decor is comforting and welcoming, encouraging you to settle in and dine for a few hours. The Girl and the Goat was one of the first restaurants to open on the great Randolf restaurant corridor in 2010. Although visited for their seriously delicious dishes, they are also not bad at making cocktails. We recommend the Royal Rubus made with gin, blackberry, lemon and lime, bitters, and soda.
