Marta Kostyuk shares romantic Paris getaway with husband George Kyzymenko following career best French Open run
Marta Kostyuk’s dream run at the 2026 French Open may have ended in the semifinals, but the Ukrainian star is making the most of her time away from the court. Just days after her campaign at Roland-Garros came to a close, Kostyuk shared a series of personal moments from Paris, giving fans a look at her life beyond tennis. The photo collection featured romantic moments with her husband, George Kyzymenko, a special dinner date, time with friends, and appearances from her beloved dogs.
The 23-year-old enjoyed one of the best Grand Slam runs of her career in Paris. On her way to the semifinals, she defeated Oksana Selekhmeteva, Katie Volynets, Viktorija Golubic, Iga Swiatek, and Elina Svitolina. Her impressive journey ended when eventual champion Mirra Andreeva beat her 6-1, 6-3 in the last four.
Soon after leaving the tournament, Kostyuk posted a French Open photodump on social media. One picture showed her posing beside a pool in a pink bikini, while another captured her enjoying music in a car with Kyzymenko. The collection also included a beautifully prepared dinner table that appeared to be part of a date night with her husband.
Kostyuk also shared photos from a Wilson event, where she wore a grey blazer and matching skirt with a black top, clutch, and heels. Her coach, Sandra Zaniewska, and German player Eva Lys were also featured in the post. Alongside the pictures, she wrote:
“Un pain au chocolat, s’il vous plaît .”
The phrase translates to “A chocolate croissant, please.”
While her Paris pictures showed plenty of happy moments, Kostyuk also took time to reflect on her French Open campaign. In a heartfelt message shared after her semifinal loss, she admitted she was disappointed not to reach the final but said her view of success has changed over the years.
“I’ve been thinking about what to say after this tournament. A few years ago, reaching my first Grand Slam semi-final and not making the final would have felt very different. Of course, I’m disappointed. I wanted more. But I’m also leaving Paris with a feeling I haven’t always had: appreciation for what this journey is becoming.”
She continued:
“For a long time, I measured everything through results. Lately, I’ve been learning to appreciate the growth behind them, the people who share this path with me, and the opportunity to compete at the highest level. This tournament reminded me how different my relationship with the game feels today. My first Grand Slam semi-final.”
Kostyuk’s run in Paris was also discussed because she did not shake hands with Mirra Andreeva after their semifinal match. Even so, the Ukrainian leaves Roland-Garros with a career-best result and memories she will likely cherish for a long time.
