Paralives is one of the most exciting life simulation games to be released in recent times, and the title has ended up receiving a solid reception from the community. Similar to most of the other life simulators, the passage of time is an essential component of the experience in Paralives.
Basically, there are a total of eight life stages in the game, ranging from baby to elder. Each life stage lasts for a set number of in-game days, and you also have the option to stop aging. The section below provides further details on how aging works in Paralives, how long each stage lasts, and how to turn it off entirely.
All Paralives life stages and how long they last
Each life stage lasts for a set number of in-game days in Paralives, but you can change how long each life stage lasts between Short, Normal, and Long settings. Listed below is a full breakdown of the same:
| Life Stage | Short | Normal | Long |
|---|
| Baby | 1 Day | 3 Days | 13 Days |
| Toddler | 2 Days | 4 Days | 17 Days |
| Child | 5 Days | 11 Days | 47 Days |
| Pre-Teen | 3 Days | 7 Days | 31 Days |
| Teen | 6 Days | 13 Days | 55 Days |
| Young Adult | 10 Days | 21 Days | 87 Days |
| Adult | 9 Days | 19 Days | 79 Days |
| Elder | 6 Days | 13 Days | 55 Days |
Young Adult possesses the longest life stage at 21 days on Normal settings, while Baby is the shortest at just 3 days. On Long settings, the gap becomes even bigger, as a Young Adult can live for 87 days while a Baby passes through in just 13.
Younger life stages, such as Child and Pre-Teen, also have segmented Life Stage bars to show the different growth spurts. You can click on your Para's profile and then hover over their Life Stage bar to see exactly how many days they have left in their current stage.
How to stop aging in Paralives
You have the option to stop aging in Paralives through the Storyteller menu. Here are the steps that you can follow to achieve the same:
- Open Paralives and click the three dots in the top right.
- Tap on the Storyteller option. The menu for the same will appear on the screen.
- You can then scroll through the different options to stop the aging process for the Paras.
From the same Storyteller menu, you can further change the life stage durations between Short, Normal, and Long. You can also alter the minutes per real-life seconds to adjust how long each minute lasts in-game. This gives you a lot of customizability.
