Earlier in the game, Paarl Royals posted a commanding total of 210/5, driven by a collective batting masterclass where Lhuan-dre Pretorius top-scored with a fluent 51 off 34 balls. After a blistering start from Kyle Verreynne, the momentum was sustained through aggressive middle-over knocks from Dan Lawrence and Sikandar Raza, who punished the Super Kings' attack with big hits. Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, the Royals finished strongly with Asa Tribe and Keagan Lion-Cachet adding 26 runs in the final two overs to power the team past the 200-run mark.

It was a clinical bowling effort from the Royals, who strangled the opposition by striking consistently whenever a partnership threatened to build. Hardus Viljoen was the standout performer with a superb three-wicket haul, well-supported by Ottneil Baartman who snagged two key scalps.
