Founded in the early 1990s with her late husband Col. V. Kochhar, the company positioned itself around aromatherapy-based skincare and wellness products at a time when the category barely existed in India. Over time, her work expanded beyond products. She founded the Blossom Kochhar College of Creative Arts and Design (BKCCAD), which introduced structured training in beauty, hair, spa, and wellness education.
