Unlock 4 live updates: Metros to resume from September 7 in graded manner; schools, colleges to remain shut
The govt of India on Saturday rolled out new Unlock 4 guidelines. According to the new rules, metro services will be operational from September 7, as schools and colleges will continue to remain shut. On Saturday, India recorded a recovery rate of 76.74%. Till now 26 lakh people have recuperated from Covid-19. Stay here for all updates.

Nirmal Singh, who is an MLA from Shutrana seat, contracted the infection three days after testing negative for the disease.

Tamil Nadu Congress Committee working president and Congress MP from Kanyakumari H Vasanthakumar died of Covid-19 on Friday evening while undergoing treatment in Chennai’s Apollo Hospitals. He was 70. Vasanthakumar was admitted to hospital on August 10. Later, his condition became critical, and he was put on ECMO and ventilator support.
