Voting for 60 assembly constituencies in Tripura began at 7am on Thursday across 3,328 polling stations including 1,100 sensitive and 28 marked critical amid high-security cover, an election official said. Long queues were witnessed in most of the booths of city before the polling started. Morning walkers were found waiting in the polling booths at Acharya Prafulla Chandra Vidyamandir in the VIP colony of Kunjaban where top bureaucrats including CEO, deputy chief minister, and Congress candidate of Agartala seat Sudip Roybarman are voters.
