Poll vault: Mamata alleges bias as EC shifts observer
Merely 48 hours before polling in high-stakes Nandigram, EC replaced police observer Hitesh Choudhary with Akhilesh Singh, directing Choudhary to report to its Kolkata office. No reason was cited.
