From blockbuster villain to pan-India star
Rana rose to nationwide fame with ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’, where his portrayal of Bhallaladeva became one of Indian cinema’s most iconic antagonists. He has also earned acclaim for diverse roles in films such as ‘Rudhramadevi’, ‘Ghazi’, and ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’, showcasing his ability to move between historical epics, war dramas, and political thrillers.

As per a Gulte report, the 'Baahubali' actor has been actively expanding his banner, Spirit Media, into a pan-India production house. The project will be a film adaptation of the acclaimed novel 'Last Man in Tower', written by Booker Prize-winning author Aravind Adiga. The film will feature versatile actor Manoj Bajpayee in the lead role and will be directed by Ben Rekhi.

On the acting front, Rana Daggubati was last seen as the lead in the web series 'Rana Naidu' Season 2, released in mid-2025. Last year in October, he was revisited in the theatres with the re-release of 'Baahubali: The Epic', which combines both previous 'Baahubali' titles. Apart from his acting career, the actor has also launched a tequila brand called 'Loca Loka'.
