'I started crying': When Kumari Muthu's confession moved Urvashi, 'Parimala & Co' star reveals a promise she made 20 years back
Veteran actress Urvashi is currently busy promoting her upcoming film 'Parimala & Co,' directed by Pandiraj. The film, which also stars Jayaram, Sanjana, and Sandy, is scheduled to hit theatres on June 5. Amid the promotions, an emotional interview with Urvashi has come into the limelight among her fans. During this interview, the actress shared an important event from her life related to the late comedy actor Kumari Muthu. She described how an encounter with the late actor helped her perceive humor and human beings differently.

Kumari Muthu's life story left a deep impact on the actress

Speaking about her experience, as reported by News 18, Urvashi said, "Kumari Muthu annan and I acted together in a film. During the shoot, the director asked me to perform with my eyes positioned like his. I did exactly that, and when the film was released, people laughed." She then recalled meeting the actor years later for an interview. "I asked him about his childhood dreams. He told me, 'I wanted to study, but I couldn't. I wanted to become a police officer, but my eyesight didn't allow it. I wanted to work in the Railways, but that also didn't happen.'"
Urvashi said his words deeply moved her and revealed the struggles he had quietly carried throughout his life.

An unexpected conversation changed Urvashi's perspective

The actress went on to say, "He told me something else too – that when he went for learning to drive, one person made fun of him for having such an eye problem. It really affected him badly." While the actor continued sharing his woes, Urvashi couldn't help but cry. "I started crying while hearing all that he was saying. He was talking so casually, but every word touched my heart deeply," she explained. She was truly impressed with the actor's truthfulness and strength of character.

The emotional encounter led to a personal promise

The moment became even more emotional when Kumari Muthu suddenly reminded her of their earlier film together. "He looked at me and said, 'You also acted with your eyes like mine in that film, didn't you?' The moment he said that, I couldn't handle it. I walked out and stayed outside for nearly ten minutes," Urvashi recalled. The actress said that the experience changed her forever. "That day, I made a decision. I told myself that I should never mock anyone again. Since then, I have never made fun of anyone," she said. Her sincere admission has been well received by several people, and the video still gets widespread views on all social networking sites.
