Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan's bail order reserved till October 20 by Special NDPS court

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested on October 2 along with seven others after the NCB raided an alleged rave party on a cruise ship. A Mumbai court on Friday rejected Aryan’s bail plea after which he was sent to Arthur Jail. Follow us to know all the live updates!

The Additional Solicitor General (ASG) Anil C Singh argues in Court against Aryan Khan: “My contention is so far we have arrested 20 persons, and out of them, 4 are drug peddlers. Commercial quantity was found with them one of them. Aachit and Shivraj were drug peddlers. The reason I am pointing this out is because in a case of conspiracy, it is not necessary that with all the accused, commercial quantity is found or intermediary quantity is foundSmall, commercial, or no quantity, if Section 29 NDPS Act applies, then there is conspiracy. When Section 29 is applied, the person who is charged with the offence will be punished with the same offence as the conspirator.”

This is a responsible agency. Entire nation is concerned with drug issue, drug addiction. Consumption by youngster. College students. It is not only crippling the economy but also otherwise. We have to find out who all are involved in this. We are told Aryan Khan was invited to the cruise but where is the invitation? As of today, 20 persons are arrested including paddlers and communications by Khan and Merchant with drug peddlers. I showed whatsapp chat with specific reference of bulk quantity. Obviously someone will not refer to bulk for his own consumption

Statements of Aryan Khan were recorded only once more and person he allegedly named was arrested. Magistrate rejected only on gtound of not having jurisdiction to hear and grant bail when offences in one FIR against co-accused attract more than 3 years’ imprisonment. The heart of NCB case is that all accused are “inextricably connected” with each other and conspiracy and that Khan used to purchase Charas from Merchant. NCB has made allegation of international drug chain. NCB's reply is a well drafted document which says connection with other accused. The NCB has used a very frightening term ‘illicit trafficking” and just dumps it on Aryan Khan.

Aryan Khan had no plans to consume or sell drugs

Amit Desai: The 13 gms of cocaine are not from Khan and neither are the ecstasy pills, mephedrone. Nothing is from him. He did not have cash. He did not have plans to consume or sell drugs. On that Sunday, only these people were arrested, whereas the panchnama has more people also. They were arrested for involvement in consumption, sale and purchase. There are WhatsApp chats, pictures, they said they are apprehending more persons, after all this, Khan was remanded till Monday. The next date, 5 more were arrested and apart from those stated above, because of all the ramifications and international links, they sought for custody. Then they were remanded till October 7, when there was only one other person whose name was given in the remand - Aachit - who was consequential. There is NCB’s copy paste here of remand also. But the arrests are beyond the cruise now. And 17 is a name through our statement, and based on that, he was arrested. But the arrest was for FIR on the cruise. Choker, Ishmeet, Sateja, Jaswal were clubbed with Khan. For further confrontation with Kumar, they sought for Khan’s remand.

They may have had information of a rave party but, it does not give them a right to pick up people otherwise unconnected and from who there was zero recovery or hold on to their custody when not required.
