Box office competition

At the cinemas, the Anurag Kashyap and Bobby Deol collaboration project clashed with other Hindi, Telugu, and Hollywood movies.
It locked horns with the David Dhawan directorial 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai' and Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor's 'Peddi'. The film is also sharing screens with 'He-Man and the Masters of the Universe'.Talking about 'Bandar', Wion quoted Bobby Deol sharing, "I didn't increase my fee for this film. When a project truly excites me as an actor, money isn't the first thing I think about. What drew me in was the opportunity to play such a real, grounded character. We are often conditioned to portray larger-than-life roles, but being completely normal on screen is actually far more challenging."Apart from Bobby, the movie also stars Sapna Pabbi, Sanya Malhotra, Saba Azad, and Jitendra Joshi in pivotal roles. The movie was released in cinemas on June 5, 2026.DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers and data in this article are compiled from diverse public and industry sources.
