While the initial ceremony was private and only attended by eight witnesses, the couple is not backing down from having a grand celebration either. The duo went to Sicily, Italy, in order to have a grand three-day-long celebration and a second wedding to commemorate the new chapter in their life.In one of the latest reports, Vanity Fair shared that the beloved couple tied the knot all over again in Sicily. However, this time around, 300 guests were invited to attend the three-day-long event. The cost for their destination wedding has been estimated to be around USD 1.73 million.Lipa and Turner took their vows at the Villa Valguarnera, a popular 18th-century mansion, in the evening hours in front of all of their guests. A statement from the report read that it was the “wedding of the year” and that it was “the most important wedding in Sicily since Michael Corleone’s.”Another thing that was included in the report cited that the veteran singer Elton John, who Dua Lipa collaborated a few years ago, also joined a couple of auspicious occasions. Not only that, but he even serenaded the couple and all of the attendees with one of his most famous songs called ‘Your Song’, all the while playing the piano, which had been set up at the venue.There was also a lot of dancing at the wedding venue, with music from Carl Cox, Martin Garrix, David Guetta, and Peggy Gou helping the attendees groove on the dance floor.As per the report, the couple opted to keep the wedding cuisine local and hired Michelin star chef Tony Lo Coco to cater to the event.
