English TV series to watch out for on Colors Infinity

Country&rsquo;s first English entertainment channel &lsquo;Colors Infinity&rsquo; has become the new favourite thing of the desi lovers of videsi TV shows. The month old channel has taken it up a notch and is all set to air a raft of shows just 12 hours after their US premiere. A part of Viacom 18 family, the channel was launched by the Bollywood&rsquo;s BFFs, Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt on July 31. The channel has an infinite list of TV shows, which is co-curated by Karan &amp; Alia.<br /> <br /> The channel follows a schedule of airing 3 episodes of a single show back to back from 9 pm to 12 am and a different show for each day of the week. The first ever home grown English language singing show – The Stage, premiered on Saturday, October 10th, 9 PM. Hosted by the beautiful Shibani Dandekar, the groundbreaking new show has roped in four highly dynamic and eclectic music maestros as judges, who will thresh out the best from among 20 talented artists and hand over the opportunity of a lifetime – a record deal with Universal Music, a 10 city tour along with a mentorship program to give the winner’s career that extra push. The judging panel includes Vishal Dadlani, Ehsaan Noorani, Monica Dogra and Devraj Sanyal.

The show aims to choose the best of the participants who will only be judged by the jury members with no voting from viewers. One artist will emerge victorious from amongst twenty young hopefuls through weekly performances, scrutiny by the judges and heart-breaking eliminations. The pot of gold on the other side, is the launch of the winner’s career with a record deal with Universal Music, a 10 city tour, a mentorship program, the full muscle of Viacom18 backing the winner’s music career across all its platforms and a brand new Renault Duster to ride in to their new life.

<strong>The Flash: </strong><br /> <br /> If you&rsquo;ve ever been a Superman or Batman or say, any Superhero&rsquo;s fan, you&rsquo;re gonna fall in love with this show based on the DC Comics character. The series follows Barry Allen wakes up 9 months after he was struck by lightning and discovers that the bolt gave him the power of super speed. With his new team and powers, Barry becomes &lsquo;The Flash&rsquo; and fights crime in Central City.<br /> <br /> The Flash airs on Colors Infinity, every Monday, back to back from 9 pm to 12 am.<br /> <br /> Duration: 1 hour.

<strong>The Musketeers:</strong><br /> <br /> This historical-action drama programme is based on the characters from Alexandre Dumas&#39;s novel &lsquo;The Three Musketeers&rsquo;. Set on the streets of 17th century Paris, the series gives you a contemporary take on the classic story about a group of highly trained soldiers and bodyguards assigned to protect King and country.<br /> <br /> The Musketeers airs on every Tuesday, 9 pm to 12 am, back to back!<br /> <br /> Duration: 1 hour.

Forever:

The series is about a 200-year-old man Dr. Henry Morgan, a medical examiner who studies the dead for criminal cases. Every time Henry dies, he returns to life naked in a nearby body of water. Henry is trying to find a key to unlock the curse of his immortality.

The Big C:

This series drew the largest audience for a showtime original series premiere when launched in August 2010. The show follows a suburban mother who faces her cancer diagnosis while trying to find humor and happiness as well.

Orange Is the New Black:

A perfect start for your weekend, the show revolves around the insane story of Piper Chapman, a woman in her thirties who is sentenced to fifteen months in prison after being convicted of a decade-old crime of transporting money to her drug-dealing girlfriend. The series garnered 12 Primetime Emmy Award nominations for its first season, including Outstanding Comedy Series.
