Dantan Assembly Election Results 2026 Live Updates: Ajit Kumar Jana wins by 10,376 vote margin
Ajit Kumar Jana (Bharatiya Janata Party), Utpal Datta (Congress), Manik Maiti (Trinamool Congress), Maidul Hoda (Aam Janata Unnayan party), Shyamal Kanti Daspattanayek (Communist Party of India), Subhash Das (Socialist Unity Centre Of India (COMMUNIST)), and Ajit Kumar Kanango (Independent) — 7 candidates contesting from Dantan in West Bengal's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Dantan is a General constituency under the Medinipur Lok Sabha segment. In 2021, BIKRAM CHANDRA PRADHAN of the Trinamool Congress won by a margin of 623 votes. The 2016 winner was Bikram Chandra Pradhan of the TMC. the final result will show which candidate has secured the most votes in Dantan in 2026.
