CHENNAI: AMMK leader
T T V Dhinakaran has mounted pressure on actor Vijay's Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) over video footage circulating on social media, in which his party's winning candidate, S Kamaraj, is shown “voluntarily and happily” supporting TVK's bid to form the government. He questioned the footage's authenticity.
He demanded the original signed letter from Kamaraj supporting TVK, along with details on who recorded the video and who orchestrated it - TVK chief coordinator K A Sengottaiyan or functionary C T R Nirmal Kumar?
Dhinakaran accused “Dhooya Sakthi Vijay’s party of forging the letter” to stake its claim to the government. He further demanded an inquiry to verify the genuineness of the letter circulating on social media.
“The video is AI-generated,” he claimed, denouncing Vijay for indulging in forgery to become chief minister.
“They have submitted the letter to the Governor. It was in one of the annexures of the letter submitted by Vijay. So, we requested him to probe into the issue,” he further said.
