Shanmuga Sundaram (Naadaalum Makkal Katchi), Sivakumar M (Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam), Sudhakar M (Tamizhaga Vaazhvurimai Katchi), Rajkumar S (All India Puratchi Thalaivar Makkal Munnettra Kazhagam), Elaiyaraja C (Independent), Krishnamoorthy C (Independent), Kumar K (Independent), Semmalai T (Independent), Rajkumar K (Independent), Vetrivel G (Independent), and Jothibasu K (Independent) — 15 candidates contesting from Ariyalur in Tamil Nadu's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Ariyalur is a General constituency. In 2021, Chinnappa K of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam won by a margin of 3,234 votes. The 2016 winner was S.
