Thrippunithura Assembly Election Results 2026 Highlights: Congress’s Deepak Joy wins
Congress’s Deepak Joy has won the seat. K N Unnikrishnan (Communist Party of India (Marxist)), Karthikeyan (Bahujan Samaj Party), Thomas Paul Komaroth (Aam Aadmi Party), Deepak Joy (Congress), Anjali .P. V (Twenty 20 Party), Satheesan (Socialist Unity Centre Of India (COMMUNIST)), Unnikrishnan K N (Independent), Rajkumar (Independent), and Sandeep Rajendraprasad (Independent) — 9 candidates contesting from Thripunithura in Kerala's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Thripunithura is a General constituency under the Ernakulam Lok Sabha segment. In 2021, K. Babu of the Congress won by a margin of 992 votes. The 2016 winner was M. Swaraj of the CPM. The 2021 turnout was 73.11%. the final result will show which candidate has secured the most votes in Thripunithura in 2026.
